Daluyon is a Level 4 Anahaw-certified resort, the second-highest level of a new green certification program developed for the sustainable growth of the local tourism industry recognized by the Department of Tourism, and is one of its pioneer awardees.
Daluyon is powered by solar energy from the Sabang Renewable Energy Corp. (SREC). Our resort was the first to support this renewable energy facility and makes us the first property to be connected to their hybrid microgrid, a milestone for the community of Sabang, Puerto Princesa. On average, our resort runs on 62% solar power from their grid.
Daluyon is a pioneer member of the Zero Carbon Resorts project, a project funded by the European Union that started in 2010. Under this project, Daluyon adapted eco-friendly measures with the goal of lowering their carbon footprint as close to zero and has since become a model for sustainable tourism in and outside the Philippines.
